Overall a very cozy and fun place to stay at! Adequately priced, private location, and beautiful scenery. Alissa was very descriptive and helpful when it came to locating the house, as well as giving good recommendations on places to visit and things to be on the lookout for.

My husband and I chose to stay at Alissa’s cabin to celebrate our 20th anniversary. The home’s amenities were just as described - great view, hot tub in good condition, very nice grill, and we especially enjoyed sitting out by the fire pit. Sadly we did not see any elk on this trip - next time! The location was perfect. So close to the blue ridge parkway and easy access into Maggie Valley and other nearby areas of interest. My only complaint is that we could not stay longer!!

Great location, and the views were AMAZING. We enjoyed using the fireplace as well. I also really appreciated her heads up about the roads, so we made sure to have 4WD for the winter weather.

Great places to stay with a big family. Great views only 15 mins from the ski slopes. Took 3 vehicles and had plenty room for parking. Gatlinburg was 1:15 mins away Cherokee was 25 mins. Great location to be able to see most everything you want.

We came and stayed at Alissa’s Airbnb for my sister’s 21st birthday. We had to best time! It did snow and we had to park a quarter of a mile from the cabin because we couldn’t make it further due to our suburban sliding but that honestly made the trip even more beautiful and memorable! We got to walk through what seemed like a winter wonderland. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit at night. Alissa was very responsive with any concerns or questions I had and her directions are very clear and match perfectly.

This is a great house for a weekend away in the mountains! Thankfully, Alissa sent us very clear instructions on finding the house as it is a ways off the main road. The house was in a peaceful area with beautiful mountain views! Everything provided matched the description. I would happily return for another weekend away!

Smoky Bear Lookout was the perfect spot for our girls' weekend getaway. The cabin was cozy and clean, the beds were comfy, and the kitchen was well-stocked. But the main reason you should book this place is the VIEW! That view of the mountains from the back porch was exactly what we wanted. The Lookout is an easy drive to all the fun and amenities in Maggie Valley, Waynesville, and Cherokee, but once you sit in one of the rocking chairs on the back porch or sink into the hot tub with the Smoky Mountains in view, you may not want to leave the house. We loved our time there and can't wait to book another stay!
